The Democratic Party is ignoring the wishes of the majority of its voters by refusing to call for a ceasefire in Gaza. You have to wonder: Why are they serving the interest of a foreign government instead of their own constituents?
Maybe it’s because they’ve taken boatloads of money from pro-Israel groups (like AIPAC).

🇺🇲 We are a very small, all-volunteer, self-funded team of Americans who want to help get money out of politics. We believe deeply in Democracy, human rights, and civil liberties. We see what everyone else sees: indiscriminate bombing, children being pulled from the rubble, international law being ignored as basic necessities for life are being withheld. When our Democratic leaders started gaslighting us, telling us to ignore the evidence before our eyes, we decided we needed to do something. This is that thing.

The Genocide in Gaza is the most pressing issue. Every day without a ceasefire is another day of needless deaths. We hope this can move the primaries and move the DNC on Gaza. This way Democrats will have more candidates they feel better about voting for in November. Republican data will come soon, but we wanted to get this info out as soon as possible to inform primary voters.

To obtain the data in the table, we used publicly available fec.gov data. First, we grabbed all disbursements from AIPAC and others (full list here). We filtered for all contributions to a candidate or their committees since 2019 and matched the amounts to all Democratic candidates running in 2024.
